Johnny picked up his first guitar in 7th grade and armed with a few chords he learned from his father. He learned the rest by ear and started his first band Intruder 6 months later. Johnny over the last 40 years he has performed with a few of the top cover bands in the Orlando, which got to open for some nationally touring acts like, REO Speedwagon, the Romantics and more. He grew tired of the cover band circuit and decided to challenge himself a bit more by creating two tribute band; Ultimate Floyd Tribute and most recently Ultimate Rush Tribute that you are seeing tonight. Johnny enjoys honoring two of his favorite guitar players (David Gilmour and Alex Lifeson) during these shows and tries his best to emulate the guitar tones and parts, note for note. It's a tall order, but each performance gets a little bit closer.
